HOW ARE SECULAR PROGRAMS BASED ON
L. RON HUBBARD’S TECHNOLOGY COORDINATED?

They are coordinated by the Association for Better Living and Education (ABLE), an international nonprofit public benefit corporation dedicated to social betterment.

Formed in 1988, ABLE is empowered to authorize qualified social betterment groups to use L. Ron Hubbard’s technologies in purely secular, charitable and educational activities. ABLE is also charged with the important responsibility of ensuring that this technology is made known and available to anyone who needs it and that the organizations authorized to utilize the technology under the social betterment trademarks are doing so correctly.

ABLE International carries out its programs directly and through a network of continental and national offices located throughout the world. ABLE and its affiliated offices closely monitor the activities of the four international social betterment organizations which utilize Mr. Hubbard’s technologies—Narconon, a drug rehabilitation program; Criminon, a criminal rehabilitation program; Applied Scholastics, an educational program; and a program for improving tolerance and morality based on The Way to Happiness, the common sense moral code.

ABLE not only helps those who directly receive or use this technology to achieve previously unhoped-for results, but it also makes those results known to every sector of society seeking to eradicate drug abuse, illiteracy, immorality and crime.
